We all know that terrorism is one of the biggest threats for whole world, and has been continuously increasing since its origin. This terrorism actually resists the maintenance of peace and security in the world. Maximum countries have been working against terrorism but their work is still on the way because this kind of situation needs cooperation and one aim against terrorism.

In fight with terrorism, India shows its stand on epicenter of terrorist activities on Pakistan. Now in the recent confirmations, UN has supported India’s stand on terrorism. The motive of United Nations is to maintain peace, nonviolence throughout the world, but there are some highlighted terrorist groups which create resistance in the path of peace..

UN recent news; United Nations declared Jaish-E-Mohammad  chief Masood Azhar as a global terrorist.

Ministry of External Affairs of India ;   Spokesperson Anurag Srivastava has said that terrorist entities and individuals continue to enjoy havens and operate with impunity from Pakistan with state support.

India can response bravely against these terrorist groups if United Nation will take stand with India against terrorism because this collaboration may be considered as a global response against world’s enemies. As we know that there are a lot of terrorist groups are here in the world like Lashkar-E-Taiba, Hizbul-Mujahidin, Al-Qaeda, Talibani, Jaish-E-Mohammad  etc.

Lashkar-E-Taiba

Lashkar-E-Taiba is one of the largest Islamic terrorist organisation in South Asia. It was founded in 1987 by Hafiz Saeed, Abdullah Azzam and zafar Iqbal with funding from Osama Bin Laden.

Its main destiny is to introduce an extremist Islamic state in South Asia and to spread terrorism among the people living in Kashmir. This terrorist group has been designated as a terrorist organisation by Pakistan, India, Russia, the United Kingdom, the European Union, the United States of America, Australia, and the United Nations under the UNSC Resolution 1267 Al-Qaeda Sanctions List.

Jaish-E-Mohammed

The meaning of Jaish-E-Mohammed  is “ The Army of Muhammad “, is a Pakistan based Deobandi jihadist Islamic terrorist group active in Kashmir. The main motive of this group is to separate Kashmir from India and integrate it into Pakistan.

After liberating Kashmir, its aim is to spread its terrorism to other parts of India, with an intent to drive Hindus and other non-Muslims from from the Indian subcontinent. These groups are also responsible for parliament attack in 2001, 2016 Pathankot attack, 2016 Uri attack and Pulwama attack in 2019.

Al-Qaeda

Al-Qaeda is an extremist Salafist Terrorist Group ( they operates in different countries ) and founded in 1987 by the biggest volunteer militant Osama bin Laden, Abdullah Azzam and several other Arab militants during the Soviet-Afghan war. This group has been declared as a terrorist group by the United Nation Security Council, the United States, the European Union, the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation, the United Kingdom, India, Russia and several other countries.

This terrorist group has attempted attacks on civil and military targets in various countries, including the 1998 United States embassy bombings, the September 11 attacks. The United States government responded to the September 11 attacks by launching the ” War on Terror “, and killed the big leader Osama bin Laden. 

Tehrik-i-Taliban

Tehrik-i-Taliban in Pakistan is also known as the Pakistani Taliban. It is a radical militant armed group which is an branch organisation of various terrorist groups linked the Afghan-Pakistani border. In December 2017, approximately 13 militant groups under the leadership of Baitullah Mehsud to form the Tehrik-i-Taliban. Mullah Fazlullal is a current leader of this terrorist organisation.

In the recent news, India said that UN report on terrorism and Afghanistan has maintained its long-stand that Pakistan remained the epicenter of global terrorism, saying terror entities and individual continue to enjoy safe havens in that country. The 25th report of the Analytical Support and Sanctions Monitoring Team concerning ISIL, Al Qaeda and associated individuals and entities, was submitted to the UN Security Council.

A United Nations report has said that about 6,500 Pakistan as Foreign terrorist fighters are present in Afghanistan including 1,000 belonging to Pakistan based terror group like Jaish-E-Mohammed and Lashkar-E-Taiba. Most of the Jaish-E-Mohammed and Lashkar-E-Taiba fighters are co located with Taliban fighters and are hand in glove with them.

Lashkar-E-Taiba and Jaish-E-Mohammed were stated to have approximately 800 and 200 armed fighters, respectively, co-located with Taliban forces in Mohammed Darah, Dur Baba and Sherzad districts of Nangarhar province    

Tehrik-E-Taliban Pakistan also maintains a presence in Lal Pura District, near the border area of Mohammed Darah.

How they Spread Terrorism

These terrorist groups create violence and spread terrorism in particular region and other parts of the world. According to recent survey, Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba facilitate the trafficking of terrorist fighters into Afghanistan, who act as advisers, trainers and specialists in improvised explosive devices. Both groups are responsible for carrying  targeted assassinations against government officials, bureaucrates and others.

Income Source of Taliban is Smuggling Narcotics

The main income source of Taliban terrorist group is smuggling Narcotic drug. The recent report said, ” network operates in Nangarhar i.e eastern province bordering Pakistan into Pakistan. It happened with the support of security of security officials who regulates and profit from smuggling of heroin.

The revenues are ” ultimately shared between security officials, head of the smuggling syndicates and Taliban ” and this is a big source of revenue for the Taliban.

Taliban and Al-Qaeda’s Link

The report has bolded the links between the Taliban and Al-Qaeda as well. The recent report said, ” Relationships between the Taliban, especially the Haqqani network and Al-Qaeda remain close, based on friendship, a history of shared struggle, ideological sympathy and intermarriage “.

Also it has been heared that Pakistan-based terror groups Jaish-E-Mohammad and Lashkar-E-Taiba are engaged in trafficking fighters into Afghanistan who are threatening to derail the peace process in the war-torn country.

Pakistan failed  to fulfil its International Obligation, Ministry of External Affair’s Spokesperson Anurag Srivastava said that Pakistan has failed in fulfilling its international obligations, including under relevant UNSC resolutions and the Financial Action Task Force, to put an end to support to terrorism.

In India terrorist activities are happening every day in Jammu and Kashmir region because that place is considered as a disputed place according to Pakistan, and Pakistan wants to capture the Gilgit-Baltistan area including whole Jammu and Kashmir. So that is why, Pakistan always try to capture it illegally with the help of terrorism.

Conclusion;  Pakistan should not support terrorism infact it should work against the terror activities because terrorism is the great harm to the whole world.
